If you know a child or student who falls into overwhelm more often than you’d like… it’s likely they have high sensory needs.
Kylie Johnston (Heart Centred Coach), is a Certified Whanau and Teacher Coach who is passionate about helping adults better understand the needs of those with neuro-diversity and behavioural difficulties. She will be running a workshop on Tuesday, 11 August at 7:30pm, at the Kaharoa Hall or via Zoom, called “Understanding Sensory Needs”.
In this 2 hour workshop you will learn: how to identify a child’s sensory needs, all about sensory diets and how to use one, practical tips and activities to help meet sensory needs, ways to calm and prevent overwhelm and loads more.
Cost is $15 (or free for Kaharoa School Community).
See our Facebook Event to order tickets or alternatively, contact email@example.com.
