An overview of the 2026 Term Dates are below for your information. Please also check the website calendar and our newsletters for upcoming events.

​2026 TERM DATES:

Term 1

Wednesday 21st January - School office opens

Monday 26th January - Auckland Anniversary Holiday

Friday 30th January - School open - Year 8s from midday, all other students and whanau invited from 2pm for Meet the Teacher afternoon, evening BBQ and BYO Picnic dinner and swim

Monday 2nd February - First full day for all students

Friday 6th February - Waitangi Day Holiday

Thursday 2nd April - Last day of Term 1

Easter is during the school holidays beginning with Good Friday on Friday 3rd April.

Term 2

Monday 20th April - First day of Term 2

Monday 27th April - ANZAC Day observed

Monday 1st June - King’s Birthday Holiday

Thursday 2nd July - Last day of Term 2

Friday 3rd July - Teacher only day

Matariki is during the school holidays on Friday 10th July.

Term 3

Monday 20th July - First day of Term 3

Teacher only day either 31st July or 7th August (TBC)

Friday 11th September - Teacher only day

Friday 25th September - Last day of Term 3

Note: The MOE has granted schools two additional teacher only days for professional learning for the incoming new curriculums: Science, Technology, Health & PE, Languages, The Arts, Social Sciences. These are all required curriculums for 2027.

Term 4

Monday 12th October - First day of Term 4

Monday 26th October - Labour Day Holiday

Friday 13th November - Teacher only day

Wednesday 16th December - Last day of Term 4 (half day finishing at 11:30am)

School open for 189 School Days as required by MOE for 2026. Two curriculum teacher only days as granted by MOE*. Two planning and reporting teacher only days which are made up at the end of the year to finish on Wednesday 16th of December.
