A new after-school opportunity for Kaharoa School students - online speech and drama lessons from a husband-and-wife-owned speech and drama school called Head Held High (HHH) whose teachers are a mixture of actors (from Shortland Street, The Hobbit, Avatar, etc), and qualified teachers (either school teachers or Trinity College of London). Apart from being awesome at what they do, their teachers are just great people and so much fun for their students!
Kate and Mark Laurence own HHH and have recently had to use a little Kiwi ingenuity (like so many businesses around the country) and have been successfully teaching their 500+ students online, using Zoom, for the past 5 weeks.
The first lesson is a free trial, so families are able to try out speech and drama before they commit. All lesson times are scheduled in after-school timeslots so that they don’t clash with any classroom work kids are doing whether that be physically at school or at home.
Please see their flyer attached.
