An overview of the 2026 & 2027 Term Dates are below for your information. Please also check the website calendar and our newsletters for upcoming events or any changes.

​2026 TERM DATES:

Term 3

Monday 20th July - First day of Term 3

Teacher only day either 31st July or 7th August (TBC)

Friday 11th September - Normal school day (previously considered as a possible teacher only day)

Friday 25th September - Last day of Term 3

Note: The MOE has granted schools two additional teacher only days for professional learning for the incoming new curriculums: Science, Technology, Health & PE, Languages, The Arts, Social Sciences. These are all required curriculums for 2027.

Term 4

Monday 12th October - First day of Term 4

Monday 26th October - Labour Day Holiday

Friday 13th November - Teacher only day

Wednesday 16th December - Last day of Term 4 (half day finishing at 11:30am)

School open for 189 School Days as required by MOE for 2026. Two curriculum teacher only days as granted by MOE*. Two planning and reporting teacher only days which are made up at the end of the year to finish on Wednesday 16th of December.

​2027 TERM DATES (DRAFT):

Term 1:

Thursday 28 January - School Open -Year 8s from midday, all other students and whanau invited from 2pm for Meet the Teacher afternoon, evening BBQ and BYO Picnic dinner and swim

Friday 29 January - First full day of Term 1 for all students

Monday 1 February - Auckland Anniversary Day

Monday 8 February - Waitangi Day (observed)

Friday 26 March to Tuesday 30 March - Easter Holidays

Friday 9 April - Last day of Term 1

Term 2:

Monday 26 April - ANZAC Day (observed)

Tuesday 27 April - First day of Term 2

Friday 4 June - Teacher Only Day (or Tuesday 8 June) TBC (no school for students)

Monday 7 June - King’s Birthday

25 June - Matariki Holiday

Friday 2 July - Last day of Term 2

Term 3:

Monday 19 July - First day of Term 3

Friday 20 August - Teacher Only Day (no school for students)

Friday 24 September - Last day of Term 3

Term 4:

Monday 11 October - First day of Term 4

Monday 25 October - Labour Day

Friday 12 November - Teacher Only Day (no school for students)

Thursday 16 December - Last day of Term 4, finishing 11:30am
