PTA News - June/July 2023

Read on for an update from our PTA regarding the results of our last two fundraisers and upcoming Firewood Fundraiser and Glo Disco!

A huge thanks to those who supported our online auction, held on our Facebook page a few weekends ago- we raised $2820! Big thanks to our local donors too who made this possible. We hope you purchasers enjoy your wins.

Also, we had a very successful scrap metal drive that raised over $3000! Thanks to everyone who gave their rubbish a drive up to school!

Save the date! Coming up on Friday 21 July (5:30-7pm) we have our first ever “Glo Disco” for all school students and families. Flier to follow soon.

Finally, this Saturday we have some keen volunteers who will be cranking up the chainsaws and wood splitters as we process firewood for a fundraiser later this year. It’s not too late to volunteer your willing hands (even if you’re like me and have no clue about chainsaws or wood splitters, figure I can throw some wood into trailers)! We need some food to feed the willing workers as it’s likely to be an all-day event so if you can make something for lunch, morning tea and/or afternoon teas that’d be amazing! Please drop it to the office on Friday.
