Well done to our 4-student World Vision Famine Team who together raised $620.00 to fight hunger and injustice in Malawi.
71.9% of Malawians are subsistence farmers which means they grow all the food that they eat rather than shop for it. One bad harvest, due to drought or flooding can mean the difference between surviving and children going to bed hungry.
Our climate is changing, and our everyday actions make a difference in the world we live in. The funds raised will help World Vision to build resilient and sustainable farming and reduce the impact of climate change on these communities.
Well done Kaharoa Team!
