posted: Tue, November 27, 2018

Our annual West Cup Speech Competition was held in the Kokako Centre on Monday afternoon.

The standard of speeches this year was very high and we like to extend a huge thank you to our judges - Richard Perkins, Betsy Gifford and Robin Hunter from Rotorua Toastmasters for judging the speeches and offering constructive, positive feedback. They were very impressed by the level of our children’s speeches.

The finalists were:

Willem Vosse - Bullying
Charlotte Lund - Global Warming
Ella McGarvie - Habitat Destruction
Phillipa Barber - Siblings

Josh Sutton - PC

Congratulations to the following children for the results:
1st place - Sulis
2nd place - Willem
3rd place - Charlotte

Highly Commended - Ella, Phillipa, Mila
Commended - Josh, Tanner
