Daffodil Day 2024

posted: Tue, August 20, 2024

Our school is proud to be supporting the Cancer Society this Daffodil Day on Friday 30th August.

1 in 3 New Zealanders will receive a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime. With free access to important resources including specialist advice and information, transport to treatment, and accommodation when undergoing treatment far from home, the Cancer Society ensures that none of them have to go through cancer alone. Your support helps to fund cancer prevention policy and life-saving cancer research and to provide support and hope to cancer patients and their whānau from diagnosis through to post-treatment.

On Friday 30th August we are asking all students to bring a gold coin donation, and come dressed in yellow. We will be awarding ‘best dressed’, to one student per class.

Your fundraising support is an important part of Daffodil Day and your help gives hope to many. Thank you for supporting our Daffodil Day fundraiser! Please scan the QR code below to make an additional donation to our Kaharoa School donation page.
