Read for a Feed Project Outcome

posted: Wed, April 28, 2021

A project update from Finley English, Founder of the Read for a Feed project:

Hi Everyone! Thank you all so much for your support towards my project. With your help, I was able to put together $200 to donate to the Salvation Army!

Yesterday, I popped into their store, and had a chat with a lovely lady called Tania. We gave them the $200 as a cash donation, and Tania mentioned the money will most likely be used to purchase meat (which they are running low on at the moment).

I hope you are all enjoying your new books, and please do consider supporting our sponsor ‘McLeods bookstore’ if you are in search of any more.

As well as that, if you are interested in supporting the Salvation Army yourselves, don’t hesitate to pop into the store (1238 Pukuatua Street) or give them a call (07-348 4586)in regards to donating or volunteering.

Have an amazing rest of your year, and thanks again for all your kind donations!

Kind Regards,

Finley- Read for a Feed project Founder
