Finalist for the Women of Influence 2019 Awards

Kaharoa School congratulates one of the finalists for Women of Influence for the 2019 Awards, in the Category of Diversity- Karen Barker.

Karen is the Manager of the Empowered Learning Trust.

This Trust organises screening for Irlen and Auditory Processing Disorder. If children require further screening this is funded as well as frames and lenses.

Every year all our Kaharoa Year 4 children have this free screening. The Trust runs this free service thanks to many, many generous sponsors.
