And Again!  Recycled Textiles Exhibition

Students - are you a year 7/8 2026 student, creative and interested in textiles, art and design? Here’s a project for you to consider!

The Arts Village is running an art exhibition in March 2026 (registrations closing 24 January 2026) called “And Again!”. Students from our four local intermediate schools are invited to make a bag from reused or recycled fabrics to show at the exhibition.

The aim of this exhibition is to recycle textiles into art or crafts and we would like your students to make a bag (each) from re-using for example, old clothes, coats, denim jeans or whatever they can put there hands on to make a bag. The size limit for the bag is 50cm square not including shoulder straps, etc.
